Voices Yorkshire: 2019 Gala Concert

The Voices Yorkshire Gala Concert is the culmination of Sing Day events throughout the year and will take place bi-annually at prestigious venues across our wonderful County. We have chosen our home town of Leeds to be the first City to host the Gala Concert and the symbolic building of the City, the Town Hall, as the venue (which will be newly refurbished in time for our event)!

The concert will feature music from the following choirs who represent their respective genres and the Voices of Yorkshire for this concert: Leeds Male Voice Choir, Dishforth Military Wives Choir, Paul’s Signing Choir, Vivacity Choir and Daytones Harmony Barbershop Chorus. They will all come together to sing a first performance of a piece specifically written for this event by a Yorkshire composer! Paul Whittaker, of Paul’s Signing Choirs, has very kindly agreed to sign the whole of the concert as well so we are most indebted to him!
